Kneel Upon the Earth

Description

This is a second printing of Go On, Shepherd, which I am calling now Kneel Upon the Earth. It is a small 4″ x 6″ wood engraving depicting a shepherd caring for a newborn lamb.  Rough shepherds can be the most tender mothers.

Kneel Upon the Earth is an edition of 40 printed by hand on BFK Rives cream paper, cut to 6″ x8″.

from the parable of the lost sheep in Matthew 18: 12-14: “Even so, it is not the will of your Father which is in heaven, that one of these little ones should perish.”
